Application

Vacuum pumps UVHJ/UVHD find their application in food, chemical, metallurgical and construction industries. They are intended to exhaust air, gases and vapors mainly from water vapor. Vacuum pumps in the ZC, TC, AC version may exhaust gases which are chemically aggressive. Gases may be slightly contaminated by solid particles. The dimension of a solid grain can not exceed 0,1 mm. Vacuum pumps UVHD are two-staged and are intended for application in a range of intake pressures from 33 to 250 mbar. Vacuum pumps UVHJ are single-stage and are intended for application in a range of intake pressures from 200 to 1000 mbar.
Vacuum pumps can be used in potentially explosive atmosphere. They are certificated to I M2 and II 2G IIC T4 atmosphere.

Construction

Liquid ring vacuum pumps use a change of the gas volume in the inner-blade area of the impeller. The function of a piston fulfil water, which rotates in the housing together with the impeller. The axis of impeller and water rotor are eccentrically placed to each other.
Two-stage vacuum pumps UVHD contain two impellers located in a row. The impellers are separated by an inner-stage plate. Single-stage vacuum pumps UVHJ contain only one impeller. The body is made of stainless steel and is enclosed at the ends with plates and covers. The impeller is fixed to a shaft. The shaft is located within rolling bearings. Vacuum pumps are supplied with mechanical seals. It is possible to use the arbitrary variant of mechanical seals according to DIN 24960 standard.

LN - covers with bearing bodies, plates and inter-stage plate - grey cast iron, impellers - malleable iron, shaft and body - stainless steel

YC - covers with bearing bodies, plates and inter-stage plate, impellers, shaft and body – stainless chromium-nickel steel.

ZC - covers with bearing bodies, plates and inter-stage plate, impellers, shaft and body - stainless chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel

TC – covers with bearing bodies, plates and inter-stage, impellers, shaft and body – titanium

AC – covers with bearing bodies, plates and inter-stage, impellers, shaft and body – nickel alloy

Selection of vacuum pump material version is according to exhaust gas.
