DIST DNT and CDN pumps were widely used in the oil-fat industry. Disk pumps are successfully used at almost all technological stages of the production of vegetable oils. The pumps have especially well -established when pumping hot oil from under presses, supplying unpeeled oil to filters, pumping thick precipitation (fuza), pumping cold thick oils in winter (soy oil at -15s and lower), as well as loading and unloading the finished products (filtered oil) from/in tankers without pulsation and foaming (close to the laminar flow of the working environment in the pump housing and the working wheel).
The highest cavitation resistance of the disk pump guarantees the complete lack of cavitation during operation, which most beneficial affects the quality of the finished product (the peroxide number and acidity of the oil does not change). Increased abrasive resistance of the pumps allows you to pump oil with bleaching clay with minimal wear for a long time, as well as its supply to the filter elements.
When working with unrefined oils containing a large number of different particles, disk pumps significantly exceed other types of pumps (centrifugal, vortex, screw, gears) in many respects, especially in reliability, unpretentiousness and durability.
