AC4 electric motors with a phase rotor of the AK4 series are designed to drive mechanisms with difficult conditions of starting and requiring speed control:
- For mechanisms, the moment of which does not depend on the rotation frequency, the control of the rotation frequency is allowed in the range (1.0-0.8) N Nom ;
- For mechanisms, the moment of which changes according to the fan characterization, rotation frequency regulation is allowed in the range (1.0-0.5) N Nom .
Engines are designed to operate from a variable current network with a frequency of 50 Hz with a voltage of 6000 V and 3000 c.
Starting engines from a full voltage of the network with the rotor circuit with starting resistance using the control station.
The connection of engines with the drive mechanism is carried out through an elastic coupling.
