Vacuum liquid -ring pumps DIV>
Liquid -ring pumps are often called water -staining, since water is mainly used as a working fluid in them, and sometimes machines with liquid piston. An eccentrically located rotor with radial blades (working wheel) rotates in a cylindrical housing, which is partially filled with liquid. During rotation, the floodplains of the working wheel capture the liquid and discard it to the housing. As a result of this, a rotating ring of liquid is formed inside the housing, which gave the name to this type of pump.
Between the sleeve of the working wheel and the ring of liquid, a sickle -shaped space occurs, which is the working cavity of the machine. This space is divided by the shovels of the working wheel into separate cells of alternating volume. With an increase in the volume of the cell, the process of absorption occurs, and with a decrease, the compression and injection process.
The compression process in the pump is accompanied by an intense discharge of heat from compressed gas to the liquid. The temperature is squeezed by the gas when exit from the pump differs little from the temperature at the entrance, and the working fluid heats up, so it must be constantly replaced. The working fluid is supplied either to the suction pipe, or through the hydraulic seal of the working wheel shaft into the working cavity of the machine, and goes through the injection windows along with compressed gas. The main advantage of liquid -ring vacuum pumps is the simplicity of work. The pump consists of a small number of parts - a hull, a working wheel and two end covers.
Vacuum water -haul pumps are one of the few smalled chopping pumps. They do not require re -filtering of gas and are not sensitive to getting into them along with the dusted gas, moisture, sand and other impurities. All this remains in the liquid ring, and purified air comes out of the car. At the same time, the presence of constant fluid movement does not allow the particles to be deposited inside the housing - they are taken out of the car along with the outgoing liquid.
