Crane-metallurgical electric motors of the MT series are designed to drive crane and other mechanisms operating in short-term and repeated modes, including frequent launches and electric braking. Engines can also be used for long -term operating mechanisms.
The engines are designed to power from the network 380 V, 50 Hz with three displayed ends from the stator winding, and can also be made at a voltage of 220/380 and 380/660 V with six displayed with the ends for connecting phases to a star or triangle. At the request of the customer, engines are made to other voltages and frequencies.

MT (K) and 225 engines can be made with the cylindrical ends of the shaft performed by IM1001, IM1002, IM2001, IM2012.
