Electric motors are designed for a long operating mode S1, allow operation in the S2, S3, S4, S6. modes.
Starting electric motors is carried out by direct switching on the full voltage of the network.
The electric motors for their purpose and installation-connection dimensions are completely interchangeable with explosion-proof electric motors of the VP, VAR, AIUs produced at the enterprises of the CIS countries

Construction:
The electric motors are made closed in an explosive shell and cooled from their own fan located on the shaft.
The electric motor consists of a stator, a rotor, a box of conclusions, bearing shields, a fan, a casing and bearings.
The stator consists of a cast cast -iron or steel welded bed.
The stator winding is made by their round copper enameled wire. The heating resistance class of insulation "B" for AIM-M63-80 and FEL electric motors for AIM-M90-160 electric motors
The rotor is short -closed, flooded with aluminum.
A box of conclusions is located on top of the electric motor. A box of findings allows the connection to the electric motor of cables with copper veins in a rubber or plastic membrane. The design of the box provides a rotation in the installation plane of 90 °. The box of findings has three brass passing contact bolts for AIU63-100 engines and six brass passing contact bolts for AIU112-160 engines
Electric motors can work in any direction of rotation.
Double -pole electric motors are designed to work when connecting with a drive mechanism using an elastic coupling. The remaining electric motors - using an elastic coupling or cuneiform transmission.
